Although the South Italian outfit just purchased Arkadiusz Milik, that has not meant any falter in the pursuit of Mauro Icardi. Sky Sports reports that Napoli are gearing up to place yet another offer on the table.
Napoli are now insisting with €55 million plus €2 million in bonuses.
This fifth official attempt at replacing Gonzalo Higuain with another prolific Argentine striker inches closer to the €60 million valuation Inter have placed on the captain.
Erick Thohir repeated that Icardi is not for sale yet again today but it is to be seen whether or not this offer nudges the Nerazzurri or not.

I agree. Although 70M seems like a sweet deal, Icardi is one of the best finishers out there but his personal life is a time bomb and he limits the attacking flexibility as the team needs to constantly feed him. He just signed a new contract some months ago and he’s being greedy instead of doing the wise thing and wait for next year when he may get a much better deal with chinese cash and no FFP. We might be able to still do it w/o him as we have Eder and his speed combined with Candreva’s and Perisic’s skill as well as Banega’s passing could be lethal. If we can sign a talented and upcoming striker (may be that brazilian kid if he’s up to the hype) we’ll be ok. I just wish we can sell him To Arsenal for this money instead of Napoli.

That number is currently the price range of Griezman (a player who have a superb season) or Aubameyang, in which from my point of view, Icardi’s form still bellow Griez or Auba.
Granted, with that money we also cant buy those two. but in economical point of view, that is a very tempting offer.
i’m sorry for cuadrado, but candreva still would be great additional…he have attacking and defensive skills, just like perisic on the other side…so it’s so sad we don’t have fullbacks who can make the most of his help
