Erkin has problem in defending. But his crosses and vertical passes are worldclass. He is a quicker decision maker with better sense of positioning than Nagashit.
The thing with Nagashit is the fact that he is faster, that would help him to recover even if he is caught out of position. But he is absolutely useless when our defense is being pressed because he is retarded.

to be fair to every coach that inter had before.. nagatomo are one of the best option we have from all of the average fullback we had, not because he’s good, but because they think: “if all the fullbacks are on the same level as him, why bother to choose, at least he has better pace”… in other word, they don’t really had a choice if you look at the bench: lord joni, the “not fit” santon, erkin(who can’t play for 90 minute), montoya(the flop), and many more.. and to be fair to naga, he had past his prime.. he only good for the first season with us..

– probably he show’s more discipline and determination in training
– he’s follows the coach instruction well in the game
– defensively he is tactically quite good
– attacking he is very bad, but our alternative isn’t good either
– but all in all our wingback is not top quality. Ansaldi have to judge after few matches

the problem with DD is he’s a “boring” player. he performs the exact same way vs. Carpi and Real Madrid. few ups and downs, but hes mostly able to bring an average performance. defensively, he is better than Santon or nagatomo, but in a good Inter he wouldnt even sit on the bench (alongside many many others from the current squad)
