Corriere dello Sport report there are two problems which are preventing Joao Mario‘s move from Sporting to Inter being completed. On Inter’s side, the FFP agreement needs to be followed – failure to do so could see Inter excluded from European competitions for the 2017/18 season as a punishment for breaching the agreement – while on Sporting’s side, they need to take into consideration their agreements made with banks to clear their debts. A solution to the current predicament is expected to be found this week at some point.
