Tuttosport report that Inter have lined up three alternatives should the move for Joao Mario drag on. There could be renewed interest in Luiz Gustavo, after initial interest was dropped when the Nerazzurri stepped up in their pursuit for the Portuguese. Ajax’s Riechedly Bazoer is an option also as is Ramires, but the club will only sign him on loan to keep inside FFP parameters.

Inter could probably get both Gustavo and Bazoer for the price of Joao Mario.
JM is a CMF
He is mainly a right sided midfielder who can play on the wing and centrally as well.
But he is surely not a defensive midfielder, like Gustavo, so im not really sure what that comment of yours was about.
I like Joao Mario, but sick and tired of those greedy Portuguese bastards. Time to get Bazoer.
