How about we fucking buy smart? I mean we make some great transfers like Banega and such, but why loan out JJ and keep Ranocchia? Especially when JJ can play as LB as well. Why spend €45m on Joao Mario when Roma bought Bruno Peres for less than €15m(1/3 of Mario’s price). Sometimes we are so oblivious to great deals inside Serie A because the prices are not as inflated as in other countries.
Agree! Paying 45 mil for Mario -who’s a great young player, when we deadly need defenders who knows how to defender, seems stupid…
For €45m we could get Garay, Bruno Peres and still have about €15m left for a midfielder. And I think we’re big enough of a club that all the mentioned players would want to join us so that wouldn’t be a problem.
