Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Inter are pushing hard for Gabigol to make the move to Italy now during this window instead of in January.
According to the report “the Nerazzurri are pushing to have Gabigol join De Boer’s squad immediately, while Santos prefer to keep him until the end of the calendar year – the situation is currently blocked. Should Inter not be able to have the striker play in the Serie A immediately, the alternative is to sign an agreement with Santos and pay the transfer fee in January of 2017.”
Thing is-if Gabigol comes now, up front we have Icardi (capo, so he’ll play), Perisic (a worthy starter), Candreva (we just bought him for over 20million not to sit on the bench) and Gabigol. Not to mention we have Biabiany as an impact sub and Palacio/jojo for the transfer list. I think he should come, but FDB must make sure to give him Serie A minutes not just play him in Europe cos otherwise he isn’t going to grow
Ideally we keep Brozo and sell Erkin and Jojo.

If he comes in January will he be eligible to play in Europa League? If we’re still in it by then. But we need him now with Jojo leaving.
he will be eligible but he wont have had time to settle and ease his way into playing in italy, he wont have a fitness issue either, so it would be great for him and inter if he comes now, but for ffp it would be better he comes in jan, since payment will start then and we may get a full back and defender now maybe?
Having him immediately is a must, if we’re selling Jovetic.
