Just shy of 4 million euros were made through the box office for Inter-Juventus. A new record has been set and it surpasses last years total for the same fixture. 76,484 filled into the Meazza to witness Inter’s 2-1 victory over the Bianconeri.

man i really dont know about a new stadium. im so in love with the giuseppe meazza stadium. i know it has a lot of advantages to have a new stadium.
but if we build a new stadium that would mean we would actually give the san siro to AC though its owned by the city of milano afaik but still.
imagine our home ground would be somewhere else in some new modern stadium that all kinda look the same. and ac has san siro for them alone. man no.
one day they will renew it and then they would have the best stadium in the world for them lol.
i actually want to stay in the san siro. i dont want a new stadium. there must be other ways to get on a good track financially. our home ground belongs to us INTER.
We should live for future not for the past. I know many beautiful memories were made in San Siro, but we are missing out on much needed revenue every time we play there. We are falling behind of Rube every year, and Roma will join them once they move to their new stadium. Not mentioning UEFA is on our ass every freaking season because of FFP…
ya i know so many advantages but still i dont really know if its the best solution to just build a new stadium or make serious plans to get the san siro or somehow renew it…
well im actually excited what will happen in this department in future….
The problem with that is we have to be dependent on AC Milan, and wait on them for every single decision made there. It is absolutely impossible with Berlusconi in charge of them, but things might take an interesting turn once the Chinese take over in Jan… The thing is their new owners would want to invest on new players, and make them unwilling to contribute on stadium building.
This is all not considering the fact that the stadium is owned by city of Milan, and it will be really difficult political decision to sell the stadium to two clubs with foreign owners. We should just cut our losses and move on with anew stadium….
With FDB trying to play attractive football and if the results follow, I hope we can get back to over 50,000 average spectators in Serie A. Last year we were at 40 something if I recall.
That will be good also for attracting sponsers, or to give reason Pirelli more and bigger contract
