Frank de Boer’s twin brother, Ronald, has written his opinion regarding what went wrong for his brother at Inter in Voetbal International.
According to Goal.com who’ve reported the interview Ronald writes that: “the Inter squad contains 29 players with the average age of 27, These are footballers that have made their mark in top football and you have to keep them happy. Most of them are internationals for their country and earn top salaries. The size of the squad has had a major impact for my brother.”
Ronald De Boer continues that “the club wanted him as coach to create a new style of playing and start a successful project. Frank immediately had two problems: the players were not fit enough, while the Serie A was close to starting when he began. Another thing was that managing such a big squad took a lot of time, while he should have been focused on football topics. Then there were the political aspects. The enormous pressure from the media and the problems between captain Mauro Icardi and the fans. As coach, you want to focus on football, but at clubs like Inter this is not always possible.”

What if Vecchi leads us wins again southhampton dan crotone?. The FDB lover will know the are dumb.
I wonder how they can still love him
Dam we don’t even have the balls to fire this guy in person, we fired him over Skype… This club is turning into a joke.
He’s victim of his stupidity
and he alone should bear the burden? not a single so called “profesional” players? or “professional” management?
HELL YES, it’s up to him alone!
7 defeats out of 14, with more than 100M in transfers, is a failure just for coach who is able to do a single shit with his squad.
I never understood why they say a coach needs so much time to adapt, you gotta know already and study it day and night, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know how teams in calcio play, this looser wanno be coach never even put any effort, mancini was much better and put so much more effort
Yeah bro, that’s right. In recent days Trappatoni said something more than true: “Dutch coaches are never gonna listen to anybody.”
He is right. Why give him first a three year contract and then sack him after three months? They gave him a three year contract in order to build.
To build in Serie B actually
Don’t take it too personal. I know you don’t like him. The way this saga developed puts both Inter’s management and De Boer in a bad position. I am not saying that De Boer did well but the management must have known beforehand about the tactics of De Boer and the fit of the squad with his ideas plus it was a bad mistake by inter to fire Mancini two weeks before the start of the competition. After that, hiring a coach for a different project for a three year contract, backing him in public and then sack him after three months. What is wrong with inter? Who is actually pulling the strings? What is their plan? Inter again will have to pay a fee to De Boer for stopping the contract like they also did with Mancini and most of the other previous 6 coaches. Throwing money away. Your way of thought is very simplistic and guess what the world is not as easy as it seems. There are multiple facets involved in this. It is not easy for any coach to be at Inter. When will anyone criticize the management? What have they done in the last six years with our beloved inter?
Man, how could our management assume “the squad doesn’t fit his ideas”? Isn’t it silly? In this squad we’ve everything, CDMs, FBs, CMs, CAMs, CFs, STs and most importantly for HIS SO CALLED SYSTEM (4 3 3), WINGERS! Plenty of wingers, some of the best like Perisic and Candreva and the prodigy boy Gabigol!
How the fuck this squad can’t fit his system!? Or what the heck his system is, which can’t work with such a deep squad!?
What do u expect from the board? Not backing him in public!? And why the should continue a long time project with a man who doesn’t have basic skills of a coach which called tactical flexibility and man management?
In Persian we have a poverb: “whenever u could avoid a loss, it’s a gain” and with his declining performance it was the best choice to sack sooner rather than later.
Thats your opinion. This squad has issues such as defence and mentality of players. Frank didnt ask for lord Rannochia or Nagatomo etc. Its like having a Fiat and expecting to drive like Ferrari with a different driver. We are all both inter fans and we want the best for inter. I Dont agree with certain mangerial choices and you have your own reasons. Inter for ever man! Forza Inter
Man, FdShit didn’t lose against Cagliari, Samp and Atalanta because of Naga or Rano. Those guys didn’t even play! Besides, if the coach is not responsible for player’s morality and mentality then who is??? Then coaches earn more than 3M per year for what!?
I am curious to know who everyone wants as a new coach. so lets do a voting!

Enough with the excuses.
FDB flopped hard, simple as that.
Now that it doesn’t matter, anymore! We’re Pazza Inter, if it wasn’t this will be something else! We couldn’t manage to win with players like Ronaldo, Baggio, Zamorano, Gjorkaeff, Pagliuca, etc.
Anyway, we can only thank to your brother for everything he give! You can call him anything, but that he doesn’t have balls! Especially, compared to some of our previous coaches. He took an almost impossible task, stand against hostile media, spoiled, ingnorant fans, always giving advices failed ex players. At least he gave a try and shouldn’t be regretful or ashamed of himself!
Time is the most precious thing, people doesn’t value some things anymore! Now we live in a world of fast food, fast fashion, fast relationships and fast success at any cost! You can’t please everybody, but at least you can have values, philosophy and stay true to yourself!
Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried is the true failure. Somewhere in the world there is a defeat for everyone. Some are destroyed by defeat, and some made small and mean by victory. Sometimes, an honorable defeat is better than a dishonorable victory.

our management is suck, that’s the TRUTH. how in the earth they want the instant results with a just TWO WEEKS before the league started? A REAL JOKE. I don’t know others, but I can manage a zero year again because I can stand the long waiting since becoming fans at ZERO years Inter. I love the Black and Blue, not the TROPHIES. The most important things for stability and long term plans that MANAGEMENT want (a BS) are patience and unity. Somehow, we lack all of them because we’re just a Chelsea, PSG, City wannabe
He didn’t accept the job for the sake of god, he earned money and reputation for coaching INTER! It doesn’t need balls to accept such an opportunity, everybody jumps for it!
And yeah, HE DOESN’T HAVE BALLS and he was too weak for this job.
agree Ronald , but your brother is not a capable coach nor a sharp person 5 wins in 14 games is not enough for a club like inter, he effected the spirit of the team greatly and no organization
