According to BBC, Marcelino left the hotel in Milan where he lived. He did not want to leave statements, while the lawyer (and his agent) who was with him told reporters:

“They chose Pioli”. This phrase, if confirmed, would give much of a clue. Marcelino is still in the running, but at this point Pioli seems to be the favorite. Now we wait for the official statement of Suning.
