After being the man of the match in the victory over Iceland, Marcelo Brozovic – on the eve of his birthday – was afforded just 39 minutes play time against Northern Ireland. A game which the Balkans won 3-0. The scoresheet was filled by Mandzukic, Cop and Kramaric.
Perisic was not part of the game due to the red card he got in the last match.
