Since the arrival of newly-instated coach Stefano Pioli, Inter midfielder Ever Banega has been seeing less and less playing time. Under ex-coach Frank De Boer, Banega seemed to be a major key to Inter’s success in the midfield. Now, however, it seems as if Pioli has decided to go with the other options available at his disposal.
In recent weeks there has been rumors that the Argentine could leave in January. Banega does not want to leave Inter, however, i nerazzurri are reportedly weighing their options.
Banega is willing to fight for his spot and leave his mark on he club, however, more performances from the Argentine seem ever more distant.

From these four you mentioned I miss only Ljajic, he was the only one who actually played good for Inter. About Banega, it’s media bulls*it, he is important, but atm much more depends on Brozo and Mario and these two has to have their best possible positions. No need to worry.
I miss Ljajic and Kova (I believe he can still develop into Modric)
He has to be played as a deep lying playmaker.
He has an excellent long pass when not pressed too much..
He has not clearly understood the league difference and keeps the ball a little more.
He is decent defensively.

Doesn’t make any sense, why sell one of our most creative outlets if we cannot land a better replacement. Priority should be the FB positions and trimming the excess fat that is our useless bench players (eg. Kdog, Jojo, Palacio, Naga, Rano..etc).
We have a good core of Icardi, Brozo, Joao Mario, Miranda, Handa, Banega, Candreva, Perisic, Medel – need to build around them and add complimenting pieces.
