Inter are yet still in search of a new midfielder to bring in on January. Mainly a quality holding midfielder that can most importantly organize the midfield, deliver accurate passes and defend properly. The aim is to bring in a midfielder only through loan and not spending until June. Nothing has been done yet but it is reported by Gianluca di Marzio that Inter’s sport director, Piero Ausilio, is looking at various holding midfielders that will bring that much needed quality and experience that Inter desperately need.
The “OK” has been given for the following players: Lucas Leiva, Luiz Gustavo, Obi Mikel and Lass Diarra, who has a release clause of zero.
The only problem that is blocking these players from joining the Italian side is the negotiation and convincing process – Both Liverpool and Wolfsburg have not agreed to the loan with option to buy yet, which puts Inter in a tough situation. Obi Mikel’s side has agreed to the loan to buy option but Inter officials are not convinced by the 29 year old Nigerian. A loan with obligation to buy would count as regular signing in the eyes of Financial Fair Play and at the same time Inter would avoid all restrictions. For this reason, Inter are only willing to sign a player through loan.
A different target altogether is Badelj: A player Inter would bring in immediately, but Fiorentina is not willing to let him go. Badelj is also tied to Jovetic – Jovetic already has offers coming from abroad and mainly from Germany. If Jovetic were to stay in Italy, Inter would like to sell him and this is a clear gesture to Fiorentina, who are undoubtedly interested in the Montenegrin star.
Another youngster is Marco Van Ginkel – who is among the loan with option to buy. The former AC Milan who is currently at PSV Eindhoven has had very good half a season with 8 goals in 13 apps. The Dutch club are interested to keep him, but the Nerazzurri have been contacted to bring him on loan.

No he’s not.. Gustavo has not been good this year.. And folks always complains about Medel only play the ball sideway or backward well here is one that playes it even more backwards..
Well With that said Medel is better defensive midfielder then Gustavo right now beside that Medel is injured..
I dont watch bundesliga so i dont know how he plays now. But i heard wolfsburg insist the teams who want him must pay his 30 mil release clause, so i doubt we will get him
Our midfield is more than overcrowded Melo, Kondo, Medel, Brozo, Banega, Joao Mario and promising Gnoukori. Let’s give these lads the chance to finish the season instead of bringing some more death-weight, even though I’d see Van Ginkel with such bad eyes.

If we’re worry about FFP, why don’t we start sellin K-Dog and Melo too. Maybe won’t make profit from their sale, but could ease our burden.
And again, looks like they’ve decided “Lord Naga is more than enough to defend our chastity from the flanks”
