“PSG is a dear place to shop.” You don’t say. Whatever Verratti may be worth it’s cost anyone double to prise him from Paris. He is a dream that we will likely never realise, UCL or no UCL. Unless…has anyone heard the rumour of Italy’s new tax laws? Any possibility they could work in our favour?

Without a CL we don’t have any chance of getting him and even with CL it will be difficult because of PSG and Juve.
I’m sure we’ll get him if we qualify for UCL in summer we’ll have more money than Rube and he’ll choose the better project.
Qualifying for the CL is a very big IF though, its highly unlikely.
Also Inter by no means have more money than Rube, exor spa which owns Rube is a far richer company than Suning. But Suning is likely more willing to splash out.
That can be decisive if he should return to italy in the summer. He might prefer Rube, but Rube might not be willing to pay whatever absurd transfer fee P$G demands. Rube only splashed the ridiculous fee for Higuain because of the Pogba sale after all.
PSG refuse to do business with Rube because of Rube stealing Coman from them. That was the main reason they didn’t let Matuidi join Rube last summer. My main fear for Verratti is PSG won’t let him go as they have lots of money and he has a contract with them until 2022, so they’re not forced to sell him.
The psg president still furilus about coman case. Yeah. They tried to do the same with Kimpebe. That’s the only way they know of getting players. Stealing them from other teams. Like they got Pogba and Coman.
