Yes, I would rate them about the same, but they’re very different players. Pellegrini is a pure regista, whereas Gagliardini is similar to Joao Mario in that he can play anywhere in midfield, but is best utilized box to box.
Very true, and pellegrini has been hailed as the biggest talent in his generation! Very nice to see us being linked to a lot of YOUNG ITALIAN players in stead of overrated foreigners like the last 10-15years!
Which is certainly saying something because this up and coming generation looks very promising, specifically in the midfield department. I definitely like the influx of Italian talent, but talent is talent no matter where it comes from. Personally, I’d enjoy seeing an Inter that is split about 50/50 between Italian and other nationalities, having the best of all worlds!
Me too, that’s what have made Juve great again, what is the back bone of the current Milan side and what Juve is still doing(getting young talented Italians onboard to be ready for the future), and that’s what keept Man Utd on the top for years too!
