Roberto Gagliardini talked to Rai Sport microphones about his debut at San Siro: “From entering into the field, to seeing the fans celebrate the win, it was all a unique experience. This is my third time at San Siro, but with the crowd behind us, I repeat, a unique experience. The goal? I tried, but it didn’t work out, I have to improve. ” How would you explain your improvement this season? “Much of the credit goes to Gian Piero Gasperini, with him I understood how to use my qualities for the benefit of the team.”
Gagliardini adds that his idol player was Zinedine Zidane, “but not for my characteristics but to the player he was. As a role model I would say N’Golo Kanté, who can play in both phases with great simplicity. I’m happy to play as part of a two or three in the midfield, perhaps to be the offensive midfielder. Surely Gasperini has facilitated me a lot. How do I feel? Firstly, I would like to greet my parents, then I’ll go to sleep at the hotel. Of course, after matches it’s hard to get to sleep. i love to see that everyone in the team is clicking right now with everyone. Nobody feels like they are on the edge of the group, but they all feel involved even they dont play actually. When we scored 3rd i saw gabigol smilling and celebrating with all his comrades. Gagliardini, new face, invited Gabi to accompany him on the field. they have fun during trainings, what can be seen in YT videos, although they dont forget that there is still pretty much work to do. In interviews every player compliments his teammates and it also looks as they really mean it.Thanks Mr. Pioli for bringing mostly right mentality, passion, pride for Black and Blue stripes and smile on everyone´s faces 🙂
