Stefano Pioli spoke with Rai Sport after the victory against Bologna in the Tim Cup:
“It was a beautiful match, not easy thanks to Bologna, compliments to my team that wanted to go through. There were many occasions, if we had a break we suddenly suffered a goal, it means we still have to work. Now it’s important to score a goal more than the opponent because we need results.”

“Good game, he has position sense, he moves well, I asked to him verticalize and he did it well. He moved well with Kondogbia, so did Brozovic. It’s a fortune to have so many good players.”
Gagliardini in National Team?
“I’m not the Italy coach, he makes his choices but if he continues like this, then he’ll get called up.”
Gabigol? “He’s improving, he had a good match, I’m happy for him, but he knows he can do better.”
