Tuttosport detail that Stefano Pioli will make some changes to the side that beat Pescara when they face off with Lazio tomorrow night. The first and perhaps biggest change is Roberto Gagliardini will be rested and Geoffrey Kondogbia will come in in his place. Ever Banega is also expected to be back in the starting lineup. Eder is sure to start too but it is unknown whether it will be in the place of Ivan Perisic or Antonio Candreva. Gabigol will also be on the bench despite starting in the last round of the Coppa Italia. There are still some woes for Pioli however. Firstly, he must decide whether or not to start Rodrigo Palacio over Mauro Icardi. Secondly, he will need to decide whether he will continue to rely on Juan Pablo Carrizo in between the sticks or if Samir Handanovic will.

We must go full for Copa. We need a trophy. I´d say play with Handanovic and play with a strong squad. Gagliardini should play because he adds so much continuity in the build of a attack. Kondogbia is not much of a skilled passer.
I agree on Handanovic part. When Carrizo plays I’m always scared when the opposite team attacks or shoots, but when Handa is playing he adds the calmness to the team and for us fans.
As for Gagliardini, I think we should rest him, I want him to be fresh and 100% rdy for the Juventus game.
I read Gaglio will be rested article on the past weeks, and no he wasn’t
Candreva and Icardi should rest. Candreva will face alex sandro on sunday and icardi will need all of his stamina to rape the old lady.
