Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola spoke about the future of Sergio Aguero at the club after having becnhed him for the second match in a row in favor of Gabriel Jesus.
Speaking with Sky Sports Guardiola stated that “I hope that Aguero stays with us but I don’t know what will happen. I don’t want to sell him, I want him to stay here for a long period. The reason why he hasn’t played these last two matches is that Sané, Gabriel and Sterling have played fantastically. This is the only reason. Sergio is a top player, a very important player who helps us reach our goals. I have no doubts about this.”
I would rather sign Alexis Sanchez than Aguero… higher determination and workrate, proven in all major leagues and probably less wage.
But the priority should remain Berardi/Barnardeschi.
