Danilo D’Ambrosio‘s recent performances and his emergence as one of the first names on the team sheet has increased the attention surrounding a contract renewal CalcioMercato.com report. The full back’s current contract runs until the summer of 2018 and he is believed to be keen to continue his career with Inter. A meeting is expected soon with the entourage. Furthermore with a new contract Inter can command a higher fee for his services should they look to move him on with them having the ambition of adding two full backs in the summer. One possible destination could be Napoli who have kept tabs on him since their 6 million bid was rejected in the summer.

D’Ambrosio’s current level might not reach that of Maicon or JZ4, but he has great determination to fight with the team. And with Pioli in charge of the team, he is getting better. In the next transfer window, we do need to buy some better fullbacks, but surely D’Ambrosio still has one spot in the team especially if he can improve more.
I know he’s not the most talented guy around, but I really love his attitude towards his teammates and his fighting spirit

I think the right choice is to stay here with a minimum raise of his wage.

I think Inter should look for a youngster as a backup, with Henrichs of Leverkusen being the best option.
He is being monitored even by Bayern and Real Madrid.
