Three weeks ago, Sunning budget for the summer was 400 millions. Last week it was 200, now I see 150. With this trend, the papers will announce next month that Sunning will borrow money to pay the bills :)))
Three weeks ago it was 400m because we hadn’t lost to Roma and our CL chances were much higher, which would raise our revenue exponentially, allowing us to spend more on transfers. Last week it was 200m because there weren’t any serious Conte rumors yet, but now that there are we’d have to spend some of that 200m transfer budget on his release and contract: dropping it to 150m. I know there was a bit of sarcasm in your comment, but the drop in transfer budget is very logical.

Sorry, but I think all these rumours are BS. No one will announce in public the budget for the next year giving the possibility to the sellers to rise their price.
The market is so inflated that I doubt that even matters at this point. Every club in the world knows we have money, and a lot of it, so it doesn’t matter what figures they say in the press, we’re gonna have to bid top dollar for most of the players we want.
