Marco Materazzi has left his position as manager of Chennaiyin FC in the Indian Super League. The former Inter defender moved to India in 2014 and played in the inaugural season of the league as a player-manager before retiring and taking over on the bench full time. Materazzi posted a photo to Instagram announcing his departure with the Chennai based outfits statement as a caption:
