Following a flurry of reports regarding Erick Thohir’s involvement in orchestrating corrupt activity in the Indonesian Olympic Games committee, the nerazzurri president has been receiving a lot of criticism. Further reports suggested that the Inter president is currently under investigation. Inter have released and official statement regarding Thohir’s situation:
“In light of recent reports, F.C. Internazionale Milano would like to clarify that Erick Thohir is not currently under investigation. Mr. Thohir has offered his full collaboration to the anti-corruption authorities during his role as president of the Indonesian Olympic Games committee.”

This is misinterpretation news. It’s not Thohir who under investigation of corruption case, but an anti-corruption authority (Komite Pemberantasan Korupsi a.k.a KPK) declares a mutual agreement with the Indonesian Olympic Games committee which Thohir is its president in order to make the Indonesian Olympic games didnt affected by corruptive matters.
Nope. He’s under investigation. His general secretary is one of the suspect.
No, thohir is not a corruptor. He is a pure businessman. Although he has good relation with political party leader he always stays away from them, as his passion is not politic.
but recent intimacy with the elected president bring him closer to politics, which made him appointed as head of committee for Olympics (KOI), and now resulting in indication of corruption. But yes, from what I read on local news, it was not him that involved and/or orchestrated, it was rather the position under him. but still, as head of organization, he might brought in for questioning.

He helped getting us back on our feet, but I so rarely think of him when official matters are discussed.I wonder if the Chinese even collaborate with him. I wish he could sell the rest of his shares ASAP and be done with us.
