La Nazione reports today that Inter are very serious in their efforts to sign Fiorentina’s Federico Bernardeschi.
According to the report Inter’s Sporting Director Piero Ausilio considers the Viola player to be the ideal replacement for Croatian winger Ivan Perisic should the he decide to leave for the Premier League. La Nazione reports further that Inter’s interest in Bernardeschi isn’t conditioned on the future of Perisic, meaning the Viola player could be brought in to simply bolster the Nerazzurri attack.
The alternative to Bernardeschi, according to the report, is Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi with Luis Muriel and Patrick Schick being considered for the role of back up player to captain Mauro Icardi. However, Inter will face stern competition from Juventus for Bernardeschi whose ongoing negotiations with Fiorentina regarding a contract extension is hardly going well.

But its not unlikely that Perisic might want to leave to big CL club in the summer, if the interest is there.
If that happens, then idealy his replacement should be a more experienced player than Bernardeshi, but since it will be another season without CL anyways and it will be impossible to catch up to Rube in the league no matter what happens in the mercato, then it might be worth the slight gamble to bank on Bernardeshi.
In that case should b sold for 40-50mil

I believe Juve are slowly declining and Inter is improving pretty fast so UCL or no UCL, we’ll be fighting for Scudetti next season. FORZA!

Perisic has been brilliant this year and should not be sold off, still we need squad deapth and Bernardeschi and Berardi are both upgrades to what we have on the bench (Eder, Palacio, Gabi…) Plus in time both mentioned players have the potential to be the next big thing in Italy!
I will give u palacio but gabi has had 1 start n barely anytime even wining 7-1 doesnt get a chance eder is a winger at samp he was there frontman something he cant b at inter while MI9 rules
Palacio is leaving and so will Eder… he is fine lad with a huge heart but we need quality and so he will leave. Gabi has never showed much on the pitch when given the chance, and the goal he scored – well, my old grandmother could had scored that tap-in!
