Inter Technical Coordinator Walter Sabatini spoke to Mediaset Premium outside of Inter Headquarters on Yann Karamoh: “I am moderately optimistic [about a deal being found]. He wants to come to Inter – he is someone we like. The last night of the transfer market is the longest.”
The former Roma, Lazio and Palermo director spoke further on Inter’s mercato: “We know there are certain gaps to be filled, but nobody here said Inter would be fixed straight away. It’s a long-term project. Andrea Ranocchia is staying, without doubt. Gabigol is sought-after and must make his decisions. Cristian Ansaldi would have been on the market, but with Joao Cancelo’s injury his departure is difficult.”
