Former Inter Milan goalkeeper Ivano Bordon was interviewed by TMW in anticipation of tonight’s Serie A clash between Inter and Sampdoria at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
When asked about Inter’s performance on Saturday vs Napoli, Bordon stated that “Inter showcased that they can compete on par with Napoli. I believe they can do the same also against Juventus and can be competitive for the Scudetto as well. They played a very good match on Saturday showing how solid and compact they can play. I repeat, they can play against the big boys.”
In addition, Handanovic seems determined?
“Yes, he’s playing exceptionally and showing that he can be reliable. He’s unmovable and irreplaceable. Not sure if he’s the best goalkepper in the Serie A but the way he’s played, if he isn’t first then he’s second.”
Sampdoria seem to be not just in great form but they play great football as well?
“Yes, they’re fantastic. Giampaolo has provided the players with great motivation. The players have a lot of confidence and the results have shown this.”
What Sampdoria do you expect to see?
“They have a strong defensive base, they’re a team that is absolutely compact and very dangerous especially when they attack especially on counter attack situations.”
