Thohir expected to remain chairman of Inter following Friday board meeting

Inter minority shareholder and current chairman Erick Thohir is expected to have his position as club chairman reaffirmed at Friday’s board member meeting.

Steven Zhang, the son of Jindong Zhang, the CEO of Inter’s majority shareholding company Suning, is expected to be given transfer signing power(s). Zhang Jr. had been tipped to become the club’s new CEO but Alessandro Antonello is expected to be confirmed also.

The meeting is to take place at Milan’s Palazzo Parigi but neither Thohir or Jindong Zhang will be present.
