Football observatory Cies have valued a number of European teams squads, including Inter’s.

Premier League leaders Manchester City lead the way with a squad value of €1.196 billion and are just one of four teams who are valued at over 1 billion by the Swiss based research group. Tottenham Hotspur are second with a team value of €1.173 billion while Chelsea and Barcelona make up the remaining two teams. Multi-European cup winning sides Manchester United and Real Madrid are both valued at over €900 million.

As far as Italian football is concerned, Juventus have a squad value of €743 million; a figure good enough to place them in the top 10 in general. Inter are ranked 18th in total with a squad value of €445 million and both Roma and Milan are valued higher.

Inter captain Mauro Icardi is the third most expensive Serie A player Cies believes. They value the Argentine at €96 million behind Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne €104 million and Juventus’s Paulo Dybala who is rated at €166 million.
