Palacios arrival and Coutinhos return to Inter could mean less playing time for Ricky Alvarez. It has therefore been speculation that the Argentine midfielder could be loaned. Espanyol coach Ramon Planes denies it, but Quotidiano Sportivo reports that the club made a request to loan Alvarez in the same way they loaned Coutinho during the second half of the season. The newspaper reports that Alvarez refused to leave Milan and that he prefers to stay and fight for a spot on the team.
