Former Inter and German international midfielder Lothar Matthäus was very happy with his former side’s performance in yesterday’s 2-0 win in the Serie A at home at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district against Atalanta.
The 1990 FIFA World Cup winner took to his official Twitter account to express his delight at the win which see Inter go up to second place in the Serie A standings, only 2 points behind league leaders Napoli on 35 points.
Another great win for @Inter 👊👌#FORZAINTER #InterIsComing #InterAtalanta https://t.co/36jiv5LkA4

Inter to the bone
That’s the man we need to complete our mid.
Or his reincarnation.
Kovacic…
Did you ever see Mattahues play?
His 10 decisive, spectacular goals a season, versus the strongest teams, from the midfield?
Not comparable.
And I REALLY like kovacic.
One more consideration:
I really like Kovacic but we don’t need more generic “quality” in the middle.
We have quality , we need more goals and dangerousness.
Someone like Naingollan , Drexler, Pastore in my view.
The Icardi addiction and dependency may become a problem and a limit, as we witnessed in inter torino.
Anyway I definitely would not reject Kovacic.
I always liked him.
he deserves that #10 jersey, as Robbie and Sneijder…
a true interista
He is always vocal about inter on tweeter
