During an interview with RadioSei, ex-Brescia and Parma coach Luigi “Gigi” Cagni gave his opinion on the scudetto race in Serie A this season.
“The table at this point is not a mistake. The scudetto race is between Inter, Napoli and Juventus. The Bianconeri will play a lot of games. Napoli have been preparing this team for years and now they are enjoying the results. They are now dominating the small teams.”
Table toppers Napoli and Juventus lock horns in a top of the table clash this Friday night at the Stadio San Paolo while second placed Inter will play host to Chievo Verona on Sunday afternoon. Napoli go in to this match day with a two point lead over Inter and a four point lead over Juventus. Both Napoli and Inter will be looking to extend their unbeaten starts to the season to 15 games while Juventus will of course be hoping they can get a victory over Napoli to keep the pressure on.
