Inter midfielder Matias Vecino will almost certainly not be included in Inter manager Luciano Spalletti’s starting eleven when the Nerazzurri take on Chievo Verona this coming Sunday at the San Siro according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Uruguayan – who arrived in the summer in a €24 million deal from Fiorentina – is unlikely to be risked at all the Milan based news outlet further report. He could possibly find himself on the bench but even then with a tough fixture with Juventus the following week, Inter would rather be able to count on him then than not at all.

Defender Joao Miranda and Vecino’s midfield partner in crime Roberto Gagliardini will definitely miss Sunday afternoon’s fixture due to serving suspensions having accumulated five yellow cards apiece.

Spalletti has decided that Marcelo Brozovic will replace Vecino on Sunday and the Croatian will partner Borja Valero who is dropping deeper to allow Joao Mario to come in at attacking midfield behind Mauro Icardi. Moreover, Andrea Ranocchia will be the man to replace Miranda in the defence and he will partner Milan Skriniar.
