The Nerazzurri’s win over the Gialloblu put them a point clear of second placed Napoli at the top of the table. Moreover, they remain the only undefeated side in Serie A after Napoli were defeated 1-0 by Juventus on Friday night.

I had a couple hours and I have just re-watched the full match , noticing some details and pondering about this and that player…
I had not re-watched a full match for …exactly 7 years.

We haven’t had a reason to re-watch an Inter game for many many years my friend – hopefully we keep this up untill the end).
What did you notice about the game/players?
Santon for example.
Wonderful for 30 minutes , one of our best players ..then less and less and at the end he had ZERO energy left.
I mean ..none, he had zero running left in his legs ,no breathe left ,down to a literal zero in the last 10 minutes.
One consideration:
Santon ,if he was hypothetically 100 % fit ,without the many,constant muscular problems ,would be our best full back by far.
A top of the world class full back and easily a starter for Italian NT.
IF he was really fit.
But it seems that he never really is ..or maybe he will soon ..I don’t know.

Santon gave me a Maicon flashback, cutting inside and shooting. Our left suddenly got another dimension of possibie movements. Perisic’s hatrick is to me some kind of proof of this. I just watched the match once, but Santon for sure got my attention.
