During the evening Italian Sky reported about the rumors that is claiming that Inter and Genoa were close to finalizing a deal with Pescara for the talented Marco Verratti. The deal was blocked, however, by Juventus and Sky tells us how:

“Inter and Genoa had basically completed the deal but at the last moment it was stopped by Juventus. Juve did that by referring to an agreement made with Genoa concerning Richmond Boakye. Juve are believed to have made an agreement on co-ownership regarding the young striker from Ghana with Genoa and would pay them 4 million, but when they learned of the deal, they told Genoa: if you take Verratti together with Inter, we do not take Boakye.”
