Neither Miranda or Danilo D’Ambrosio will play for Inter again in the remaining two fixtures of 2017 according to Tuttosport.

Both the defenders picked up injuries in the defeat to Sassuolo last weekend and will miss tonight’s Coppa Italia Derby della Madonnina clash as well as the crucial Champions League qualification showdown with Lazio on the 30th.

D’Ambrosio is likely to be back for Inter’s game with Fiorentina on January 5th while it is not so likely that Miranda will be. The 29-year-old Italian has suffered a ligament injury to his left leg while the 33-year-old Brazilian has suffered an injury to his calf.

Each player has been near ever present for the Nerazzurri this term in the 19 games thus far in all comeptitions with D’Ambrosio just missing the game against Pordenone in the last round of the Coppa Italia and Miranda missing one league game and the same cup game.
