The transfer window may have only been shut for just over half a day but Inter are already closing in on their first signing for the summer according to the latest reports.
The Nerazzurri are expecting to wrap up a €15 million (plus bonuses) deal this weekend that will see Lautaro Martinez move to the San Siro in July as per Gazzetta dello Sport.
Martinez confirmed yesterday that his agents were in Milan holding talks with Inter management over a summer transfer but also admitted that he is “concentrated on Racing” for the time being.
Inter are not the only club to have come in to links with the 20-year-old Argentine starlet with Arsenal, Real Madrid and Barcelona all also understood to be keen on him. It can also be argued that Inter have an upper hand in negotiations over all other clubs due to the relationship between the club and Racing director Diego Milito.
