Following the confirmation that Walter Sabatini has left the Suning Group after talks with Suning, Gazzetta dello Sport have taken a look at some of the key contributing factors behind his departure that will affect both Inter and Jiangsu Suning.

“It is easy to imagine that Sabatini was annoyed mainly due to the great difficulties encountered in making moves in the last market. There is also talk of a very tough confrontation with the owners about the last market, but Sabatini is perhaps more displeased by the lack of concrete support.”

Gazzetta dello Sport also hypothesise that Suning’s big demands are part of the reason Sabatini left prematurely from his position that he’d held for not even a year. They further suggest that Suning were unhappy which could’ve lead to them arguaby forcing Sabatini out.

“Such an attitude would be the result of, among other things, the results on the pitch, both for Inter and for Jiangsu. The Chinese probably expected more with the budget made available last summer, including bonuses.”
