Should Inter fail to qualify for the Champions League, manager Luciano Spalletti will be at a serious risk of being relieved from his duties and according to Diario de Noticias, Inter could replace him with Sergio Conceicao.
The Portuguese newspaper report that Inter tasked sporting director Piero Ausilio with getting all the details about the current FC Porto manager. The 43-year-old, who took on the role at Porto just last year after being in charge at Nantes, has a €15 million release clause in his contract with the Portuguese giants and Inter are unwilling to pay that.
Conceicao is no stranger to the Nerazzurri having played at the San Siro between 2001-03. This is also not the first time that his name has been thrown in to the ring with his name linked a few times around this time last year as Inter searched for another permanent manager following the sacking of Stefano Pioli.
