In an Interview by Inter TV, former Inter defender Marco Materazzi spoke at 360 degrees about Inter’s situation. He started with his own opinion on the season of Spalletti’s team.

“It’s over as it should be; the qualification in the Champions League is the minimum that Inter can get in. Good guys who have achieved the goal.”

Materazzi then discussed Inter’s project.

“The base is very important in my opinion, both for the team and for the coach. In the end, Inter chased away a nightmare that was at the Olimpico.”

The reporter asked Materazzi about the importance to challenge the top European teams.

“It depends on the point of view. I would like to spend as much time in Europe in possible and I would not care much about who we meet, of course, everything can happen in football, even if you meet big teams.”

Materazzi concluded the interview by reviewing Milan Skriniar’s first season at Inter.

“In my opinion, he has had a great season. He still has plenty room for improvement. It is not easy to show up at the San Siro and debut with a season like he did.”
