In his press conference on the eve of the big match between Napoli and Milan, a match filled with emotion for the former Milan manager, Carlo Ancelotti responds to the question regarding the Scudetto challenge, set by Massimiliano Allegri, at around 90 points:

“I do not know – said the Neapolitan technician – There will be more competition at the top with Inter, Milan and Roma and then perhaps the points total for the winner will come down. There are dreams and utopias – added the coach in reference to the possibility of Napoli winning the Scudetto. The latter is a bit risky, chasing a dream … it nearly arrived, the team has not changed since last season, so let’s say that it is not lacking much. I hope I can add the extra little bit that was missing.”

Napoli achieved a record points total last year of 91 but still fell short of Juventus’ title-winning total of 94 points.
