As expected, Luciano Spalletti will not pass up on the opportunity to start Kwadwo Asamoah as long as he is healthy and fit enough to play. Gazzetta dello Sport confirms that the versatile Ghanian will be present in the starting eleven in tonight’s game against Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

“In the midfield line, Asamoah is back and is in pole position to start the game. Yesterday morning the Ghanian trained with his teammates before the game against Bologna. Luciano Spalletti prefers Asamoah to Dalbert as the Brazilian did not do enough to convince the coach in the first two games of the season. Even with the blow that he has suffered to his ankle last Sunday against Torino, Spalletti believes that Kwadwo can offer more to the team than Dalbert in terms of strength, reliability, and tactical presence.”

Dalbert has been given many opportunities in the past few months but has ultimately been unable to justify the price tag that Inter were forced to pay for his services one year ago.
