The referees for Inter’s first Champions League group stage game against Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspurs on Tuesday night at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district with kick-off scheduled for 18.55 CET, have been appointed.

The match will be refereed by Frenchman Clement Turpin who will be assisted by Nicolas Danos, Cyril Gringore, and Guillaume Debart and with Ruddy Buquet and Nicolas Rainville in the roles of additional referees.

Turpin has officiated 14 Champions League matches starting in 2010, including twice last season against Italian teams he was in charge of Roma’s 3-0 win over FC Barcelona and Juventus away draw 1-1 against Sporting Lisbon.

The 36 year old Frenchman from Oullins has been in charge of one Inter fixture, back in August 2012 when the Nerazzurri coached by Andrea Stramaccioni lost at home against Hajduk Split by 2-0 in the third qualifying round of the Europa League, where Inter went through after having won the match in Croatia by 3-0.
