Former Inter central midfielder Salvatore Bagni has tipped Inter and their city rivals Milan to both finish ahead of Roma at the end of the season.
“Inter have a lot of high quality players in their side and are used to playing at certain levels, they are destined to improve over time and I see the Nerazzurri and Rossoneri finishing in front of Roma come the end of the season,” he said in an interview with Fuorigioco.
Bagni, who spent three years at Inter between 1981-1984, also spoke on another of his former clubs in Napoli and what he thinks of their situation and why they have not managed to end Juventus domestic dominance despite giving them a good challenge for each of the past few seasons.
“Beyond being strong on the field, their problems are all in their head. If you are not really convinced about winning and you have already taken some ‘slaps’, you are left in a kind of complex situation.”
