Luciano Spalletti got his game plan right for the night but his men didn’t take their chances. Juventus made the most of Inter making some defensive errors and continued their march to win the Serie A at a canter this season. Lets see how our players got on at the Allianz Stadium.

Samir Handanovic – 5: Made a couple of good saves but was never comfortable with the ball, put Miranda into trouble and didn’t attack crosses, even on the goal.

Sime Vrsaljko – 6.5: Poor start but then slowly recovered and marauded down the right. Always offered an option to Brozovic and did his defensive work very well.

Miranda – 5: The decline of Miranda is visible. He looked slower, out of ideas and unable to make crunch decisions. Brought on a lot of pressure.

Milan Skriniar – 6.5: Like Vrsaljko he had a slow start where Ronaldo turned him a couple of times but then he showed why he’s a champion.

Kwadwo Asamoah – 5: Never bothered to attack. Never played quick balls out. Did very well defensively until the goal where he should have been marking his man.

Marcelo Brozovic – 7: Everything everywhere flows through EpicBrozo every single game. Defensively solid, going forward even better. Playing better each game.

Roberto Gagliardini – 5.5 : He looked off-pace right from the word go, somehow put in the shift and tackles. Had he kept his mind and not scuffed that shot…

Joao Mario – 5.5: One of the only players who was bright from the word go both defensively and offensively. Then ran out of gas in the 2nd half and it showed.

Ivan Perisic – 5: Asamoah didn’t play one single ball down the line for Ivan who messed up whatever little service he got but defensively looked solid.

Mauro Icardi – 6: Mauro is just a poacher he doesn’t get involved in buildup play.’ Nah. He could and should have had two assists and three points today. Complete striker.

Matteo Politano – 5.5: Matteo is playing a lot and can’t finish games. He was subbed out to save him but not before he also messed up a one-on-one chance. Our best winger.

Borja Valero – 5: For once this season he looked off the boil. Couldn’t keep the ball ticking as his team-mates kept giving it away. Came on for the wrong player.

Keita Balde – 5: Did he even play? He has been in form but struggled to get on the ball and make it talk. Seems less of an impact player and more of a starter.

Lautaro Martinez – 6: Got stuck in to a few tackles, had a couple of chances and runs where he took shots. Brought the impact he always promises. Needs to play.

Luciano Spalletti – 6: The game plan was perfect tonight. A couple of minor decisions here and there but he can’t be blamed for missing those easy chances.

Irrati – 6: Got most bookings right and maybe gave in to their dives a bit too easily. This rivalry has had its share of poor refereeing, pleasant surprise!

Inter – 5.5: The performance was good overall. Our target should be to stay in the CL places and next weekend onward we should finish our chances.

Agree? Disagree? Who do you think was Inter’s best player of the night?
