According to Tuttosport, Inter captain Mauro Icardi is evidently wanting to win with Inter amidst rumoured interest in his services from Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Icardi posted “Amala, Forza Inter” on Instagram yesterday, despite understandably hurting from the Champions League exit. It’s impossible to predict what will happen in the distant future, but for now it is clear that Icardi has his mind solely focused on helping the Nerazzurri grow.

His contributions are vitally important. Never before has an Inter player scored four goals in their first six Champions League games, as well as becoming the first player in Inter history to score in his first three home games in the Champions League.

Tuesday evening also happened to be the 25-year-old Argentine international striker’s 200th appearance for the club. The chance to leave his mark on Inter’s history is a possibility that increases his motivation to stay with the Nerazzurri.
