Inter’s Brazilian attacker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa is torn between returning back to Brazil and joining Flamengo on loan or to wait and see if he can join Premier League outfit West Ham, Brazilian media outlet Globoesporte reports.

According to the report, West Ham and Flamengo are the only two clubs that have expressed an interest in loaning the former Santos attacker, having made an offer to Inter for him.

The player is reportedly very seduced by the idea to represent Flamengo, and has already accepted to extend his contract with Inter by one year until the end of June 2021, in order to facilitate talks between the two clubs.

Inter have on their part stipulated a couple of terms for this, namely that he will be sold immediately in the summer to whichever club that makes an offer deemed satisfactory by the Nerazzurri, and that his salary is to be paid by Flamengo.

The parties continue talks whilst West Ham have not given up yet but cannot proceed with the deal due to the player not being able to secure a work permit from the Premier League.
