Radja Nainggolan will start for Inter in next weekend’s match away to Torino, failing that the Coppa Italia match with Lazio according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

For the first time in his career the Belgian midfielder has not started three games in a row when fit, this despite having a strong desire to start from the off against Sassuolo at the weekend.

Having had a difficult start to life in Nerazzurri between poor performances on the field, to injuries and to off-field controversies, the Belgian is hoping to be one of the main protagonists for Inter in the second half of the season in Serie A, Coppa Italia and the Europa League.

Nainggolan joined Inter in the Summer from Roma in a deal worth €40 million but has certainly not lived up to expectations as of yet. Nainggolan has made 17 appearances across all competitions scoring just three goals in 1042 minutes on the pitch.
