Inter’s Dutch international central defender Stefan de Vrij, will miss the Coppa Italia Quarterfinal clash against his former side Lazio, to be played at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district on Thursday night at 21.00 CET, due to a minor injury, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia report.

According to the report, the former Lazio man has suffered a minor muscle injury, which forced him to train on his own during today’s training session, and will most likely be replaced by Brazilian international central defender Joao Miranda.

Furthermore, the injury is so minor that De Vrij will with all certainty be fit to play on Sunday at 18.00 CET when the Nerazzurri host Bologna in the Serie A at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

In conclusion, Sky Sport Italia reports that new Portuguese international signing Cedric Soares, could make his debut for the team against Lazio in the Coppa Italia quarterfinal.
