Inter Club Interisti Svedesi have during the month of December been involved in two different projects in order to raise funds to aid people on this planet who aren’t as fortunate as you and I. When Interisti Svedesi visited Milano to see the games v Neftci & Napoli earlier this month 4 Inter replica home jersey’s were purchased with the name and number of the following players: Javier Zanetti, Philippe Coutinho, Diego Milito & Antonio Cassano. A high resolution photograph taken by photographer Thomas Salme of Fredy Guarin when he scored his first goal for Inter was also purchased and was autographed by Guarin himself together with the home jerseys of all the other players thanks to the help of the good people at Inter’s press office.

Two of these autographed jerseys (Cassano & Milito) were donated by Interisti Svedesi to a national fundraiser in Sweden organized by the Swedish State Television and Radio, SVT & SR, in order to raise money to bring clean water to children in poverty striken areas. This auction turned out to be a great success as the two jerseys raised 10,000:- Swedish Crowns which added to money raised through the online collection box brought in a total of 14750:- Swedish Crowns!

The other two autographed jerseys (Zanetti & Coutinho) together with the autographed photograph of Fredy Guarin were auctioned out by Inter Club Interisti Svedesi in order to raise funds for Inter Campus which is Inter’s own project which organizes events all around the world where children in warstriken/poor areas are allowed to play football and be children, at least for one day. This auction was completed a few hours ago on Christmas Eve and the total amount raised was 9525:- Swedish Crowns who put together with the generous donations adding up to 1400:- Swedish Crowns given by Axel & Håkan Sköldin, Daniel Zargar, Tor Brisfjord, Marcus Ljungren, Hamid Jamshidi & Letticia Rieser brings the total amount up to 10925:- Swedish Crowns.

This will be presented to Inter Campus at Inter’s headquarters in Milano during the end of February 2013 when Interisti Svedesi will visit Milano next.

In totalt Inter Club Interisti Svedesi’s two different fundraising projects brought in 25,675:- Swedish Crowns, which has exceeded our expectations as this was the first year Interisti Svedesi organized such events and the Interisti Svedesi would like to thank photographer Thomas Salme for donating his photograph as well as helping organize everything in Milano, everyone at Inter who helped get everything autographed and finally everyone who gave not just from their pockets but from their hearts.

Thank you for your generosity!

Merry Christmas
