According to the Milano based Gazzetta dello Sport, the ex-captain will undergo a medical examination at the Humanitas clinic this morning to verify the extent of the inflammation in his right knee.

This is the same injury that the Argentine says is keeping him out of action to the point of not being able to train, and that flared up from the day after the case of the removal of his captaincy and the refusal to travel to Vienna.

To talk about a staged visit is probably excessive, but to say that Inter want clarification on this story is true. Maybe, diplomatically, it will come out as an injury that will keep him out for some time and that somehow would end up making the situation comfortable for everyone in this affair, because time could be good to Icardi and Inter to find a way out of this drama.

Everyone is now suspicious of each other, the relationship of trust has broken down and is now a serious problem. Inter believes that Wanda wants to get to the summer and then refuse the renewal to let her husband move on. However, the other side on the contrary is convinced that the club has put all this strategy in place to sell the player in serenity next summer, without the contrary pressure of his wife-agent.

The tension between the parties remains very high, Icardi waits for the club’s move, or better, a reversal of it’s decision. The management and the coach on the contrary are waiting for a gesture from the player for the team, as explained by Spalletti himself publicly in the last few days.

There is still reportedly very little compassion from Icardi’s teammates. In the eyes of the locker room, every day that passes with the absence of the former captain in the group, is an indirect confirmation of the goodness of the choice of the coach and management in changing the captaincy, according to GdS.

Given that the social media networks are so dear to the Icardi family it is a good gauge of the current situation and on the post with which Inter celebrated Icardi’s birthday at the stroke of midnight between Monday and Tuesday, only four players ‘liked’ the post: D’Ambrosio, Ranocchia, Candreva and Asamoah, while Lautaro dedicated an Instagram story with a virtual hug to Icardi.
