Gazzetta dello Sport are convinced that Inter are determined to sell Mauro Icardi in the upcoming Summer transfer window.

The Nerazzurri would be willing to accept an offer of €70 million for him, despite the fact he has a €110 million release clause in his contract, a clause valid only for foreign clubs.

The 26-year-old however has different ideas and wishes to stay put and earn his place back due to his love for the club.

Gazzetta continue to explain that in order to not miss the Copa America, Icardi will have to prove to Argentine manager Lionel Scaloni in the last four games of the Serie A season that he has recovered his form.

If he does so, he will likely partner Inter teammate Lautaro Martinez. The duel between the two at Inter will start again this week ahead of Inter’s game against Udinese, after Spalletti surprisingly started Icardi against Juventus.
